Australian plant biosecurity RD&E forum looks cross-sectoral priorities
The GIA Secretariat recently supported Gisele Irvine to attend and represent GIA partners at the Plant Biosecurity Research Development & Extension (RD&E) Priorities Forum, held in Victoria, Australia. The two-day event, run by Plant Health Australia (PHA), brought together around 90 participants to identify the top cross-sectoral priorities for research in Australia.

The consultation phase on the future direction of New Zealand's biosecurity system - Biosecurity 2025 - is underway. MPI is holding public meetings and hui in various locations around the country over the next two weeks. We strongly encourage you to get to one of the meetings. Read more
