Tomatoes New Zealand Incorporated, representing commercial fresh growers in New Zealand, has become the latest industry group to sign the Government Industry Agreement for Biosecurity Readiness and Response Deed.

Australian plant biosecurity RD&E forum looks cross-sectoral priorities
The GIA Secretariat recently supported Gisele Irvine to attend and represent GIA partners at the Plant Biosecurity Research Development & Extension (RD&E) Priorities Forum, held in Victoria, Australia. The two-day event, run by Plant Health Australia (PHA), brought together around 90 participants to identify the top cross-sectoral priorities for research in Australia.
